The lack of good joystick mounts was frustrating, so I made my own.
This mount is for the HOTAS X55 Joystick and Throttle, and designed to camp on a desk 25mm
...Plus thick (~1in), but could be edited for a thicker desk. I've included the Fusion 360 file, so this can be done easily.
Since the X55 joystick and throttle have the same base body and size dimensions this can be printed for both joysticks.
Their are two parts to the clamp. The Spine and Clamp Body. Which need to be welded or glued together. (split up mainly so smaller printers can print each part individually, and to also test tolerances).
The clamp body and spine are threaded to accept the bolts in the files.
The Joystick bolts are ~7mm m10X1.5.
The Desk Clamp Bolts are ~10mm m10X1.5.
The tolerances are really tight for the bolts, and will need to be tried and adjusted depending on what printer your using, and how snug you want them in the joystick(s) itself.
I haven't tested this print yet, waiting on my Mk3!
