Here's an adjustable drop hitch design for all those with trailers. It's sized to fit the Gen 8 hitch which is 6.5mmx6.5mm, utilizes 2.4mm holes for m2.5
...Plus sized screws or 3/32 rods. 5.7mm ball.
I inculded a ball design but your best bet is probably to buy a metal one. BUT this ball design does have a 2.4mm hole run through most of it so you can secure it to the adjustable piece AND run the screw into the body. Will take some stress off the layer lines.
To secure the adjustable piece you'll need a m2.5x11mm screw to run from the back of the hitch through the bar and into the adjustable piece.
