This is my latest design for an Asus RT-AC5300 Mount for a wall or ceiling.
This mount is much smaller and is hidden behind the router.
Required:
1 -
...Plus Mount Base
1 - Mount Top
4 - Mount Nubs
8 - 12mm by 3mm Neodymium Magnets
+ - Super Glue or CA Glue
(I found the magnets at Hobby Lobby. They were sold as "1/2 inch Magnets (12.7MM)", but they actually measured 12.0mm)
Apply two drops of thin CA Glue (or super glue) to back side of magnets after the magnets are pressed into their holes.
I may include a design with even larger magnets in the future.

To remove mount from router body, twist mount. (mounting pins will break off easily with the lateral forces)
After removal, the broken pin pieces can be extracted from long slots on side of router. I used a curved pick to do so.
