I bodged this design together and took a flier having it printed in ABS, without knowing if the material or design were suitable for what had in mind. I lucked out – the design and material worked, but it would not have been quite so lucky without the communication and expertise of this vendor – the parts came back :chefskiss: perfect and were waiting for me when I returned from a business trip.
All pieces were perfect, and shipped very rapidly like every order I have had the pleasure of ordering from MilkNasty. I highly recommend this company and their quality services.
I know next to nothing when it comes to 3D printing objects, but this experience was quick and fairly straight-forward. I tested the item by inserting it into my Nintendo Switch game slot, but it became stuck and would not eject properly. Using thin metal pliers from iFixit, I managed to pull it out of the slot, then carefully cut away some of the plastic around the game slot hooking portion of the item, and now it slots in and ejects properly in the console. However, the microSD slot portion of the item is a bit too large and doesn't grip onto the microSD card. In any case, I am overlooking these flaws as I consider these to be inherent to the design and not the fault of the person that produced it for me. In the end, the item fulfills its purpose, and I'm satisfied with it, the person that made it for me, and Treatstock for making the order process easy. Thank you very much!
